Batteries are quickly damaged by faulty or incorrect chargers and in extremes cases, batteries can produce toxic fumes when over charged. It has always been difficult and time consuming, (often taking many hours) to confirm that a charger is working correctly.

This has all changed with the introduction of the CCS-010

The UNIQUE, 40 second automatic test sequence developed by Astratec, confirms that all of the important charging currents and charging voltages are within the fine limits needed to ensure the battery is correctly and safely charged.

This new fast test is fully automatic and no technical knowledge is required to use the tester, just follow the simple instructions shown on the LCD display.

The new 40 second test now makes it possible for mobility service personnel to include a charger check as part of a standard service routine in workshops and during on site visits, helping to identify faulty chargers before they damage the battery and helping to ensure battery charging at home is safer.
